The Spyder FVee purchased from Spyder Motorsport as a kit and built by Team JCR (Jeremy Clark Racing) used by Jeremy to win the British FVee championship in 2000, 2001 and 2003 was steadily developed through the seasons.

Along with team members Julian Aley and Peter Johnson, the Spyder was continually improved in order to maintain its position at the front of the grid. Jeremy dominating the 2000 and 2001 Formula Vee championships with 7 race wins in each and finishing in the top 3 in all races, setting record championship points totals.

In 5 seasons (69 races) this car won 28 races, finished 2nd on 15 occasions and in 3rd place 14 times, a total of 57 podium positions).

Amazingly the Spyder/Jez Clark car and driver combination finished in the top 2 of every Vee Championship from 1998 – 2003.

As tyre technology improved then the Spyder grew, by the end of the 2003 season the car was fitted with Tech 2000 4 way adjustable shock absorbers, and with many other improvements, a leading edge car, recognised as such by Racetech engineering and Competition and Car Conversions magazines who have both carried in depth articles on the car's design, preparation and development.
