The 2005 BARC Milltek BMW Challenge Cup

Following major disappointments at the beginning of the year with engine failure and shock absorber breakages, Sportsmeister BMW worked hard to improve the 318i.

With the championship out of our grasp, the mid season races were not entered, but at the final three rounds a second place, a fourth (from the back of the grid) and a hugely exciting victory at Oulton Park, the final round, proved to everyone that the team could build and prepare race winning cars.

Surprisingly, although this was a 'Challenge Cup' in 2005, despite missing five rounds, Jeremy's points total resulted in 5th place in the 'theoretical' championship!

Valued product support was provided by Torco oils, Hyperco performance suspension springs and CAM Autos (The brake hose shop).

Thanks also to Waggn' Wheels of Kings Lynn for supporting Jeremy at the Snetterton rounds in September 2005.

Jeremy was also been available for race tuition and Track day customer support for Sportsmeister BMW, throughout the year.
